Binky baby

Look at this Binky suckin baby! She would not stop putting her thumb in her mouth so I stuck this binky in and she was going to town!! I have to admit- I am not too fond of the whole binky thing! I think it just makes me nervous having to rely on something that I might not be able to find at 3 A.M.!! I have never really been a believer of this sort of comfort. I should clarify...... I am not a believer of this sort of comfort if it is forced upon babies, I understand that some babies need to sooth that natural suckling and that's great because that is exactly what they are made for! But why force a baby to take a binky if they do not need it and then eventually have to turn around and take it away?! I know that some kids give it up on their own but a lot do not and that to me is scary!! Even though I have to admit, babies do look ridiculously cute with these things in there mouth!!

I cannot take a picture of Olive with out her looking directly at the camera! Once I start snapping she will not look away! It is so cute but makes it hard to get a picture with her cute little earrings!

Big brother can't get enough of her either! He is so sweet but I have to watch him cuz he is a big one and doesn't realize it! He is like Lenny on Of Mice and Men! I always have to remind him to be careful!!

Olive is so snuggly in this little outfit!! I couldn't resist buying it for her, plus she was such a good little baby when she got her ears pierced!!! SHE DESERVED IT!!! She looks so cute!

Guess who rolled over for the first time!!! My little Olive Apollonia!! Monday she rolled over from back to front and Wednesday she rolled from front to back. I can't believe she is getting so big! They get big so fast!

Tadhg is lookin mighty handsome or should I say pretty! He found Indie's make up and had a hay day!

Have you ever had one of those times when you really don't care what your kids are doing as long as they are just out of your face being quite?(and I mean that with love) Yeah, well I definitely should have cared more about what my kids where doing out innocently playing in the rain! All I can say is at least they had fun! It had been raining in Georgia for like 3 days so you can imagine the mess even before they started! Man, I really miss the snow today!







This is the tub after Tadhg and Indie took a bath and after I washed the mud out of their clothes. It took me half a roll of paper towels to clean it out!

Tadhg now hates when I take his picture so recently all the pictures of him have looked like this...hand in front of his face- STINKER!


Lex and Tadhg are wrestling and playing like boys!!! Check out my boy Lex's six pack! He definitely gets that from the Johnson's!

Well, it looks like Olive might be a thumb sucker, I have to admit we are a little nervous! It's cute and all but a little scary! You can take a binky away but not a thumb! We just keep pulling it out of her mouth and trying to distract her, we will see!

LOOK!! SNOW IN GEORGIA!!!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We had a great New Year's Eve! We got to open all our presents from Naunie and Grampa and boy oh boy did they spoil all of us!!! The kids got a really cool mini die cut machine and some various scrapbook items, which they love! I got a awesome family calendar that is absolutely adorable that my mom worked her tail off on! Thanks Mommy I love it!! And my mom sent Paul some of my dad's old pens and one of his sketch books, now that was awesome! It brought tears to both of our eyes! Mom, you are the best!!! I can't wait until next Christmas cuz you guys will be at MY house! Don't forget! Not that you will, cuz I won't let you!!
