I was on the computer and Olive was on my lap, of course, and we saw a princess bed and she went NUTS!! And now she won't stop talking about it. She keeps pointing to the tree saying "Santa, for my wincess bed!!" ..... looks like Santa better get to work!

A few pics to update

Here is some interesting things the kids have been doing. They made people out of blankets and dressed them in clothes...... no this is not because we homeschool now and they don't have any friends so they have them. Well, at least I hope not!
Lex helping Tadhg with his handwriting
Olive eating her sucker for going potty on the toilet!
you know I have to put a cheese pic in here! It wouldn't be a post with out it!
Playing Indians one day
The kids designed their how they wanted their faces to be painted
My mom used to do this for me and my siblings when we were little. Then she would braid my hair like a "cowgirl" and then we would tie my little sister up to the clothes line and run around her making either Indian noises or pretending to shoot guns.

Lex and his never ending fetish for building forts
Me and my wittle babies!

Halloween........

I was a Greek Goddess, believe it! Olivetta was the cutest witch EVER!! Of course none of my pictures really turned out this year! I'm really kinda ticked off about that!
Big daddy was a Zombie, his favorite.
Eating donuts on a string
Tadhg was Spiderman and Lex was um, dressed in black?? Not really sure what he was actually.
Indie, also dressed in black, was a robber... that's right. A robber
Miss Muffet doin a little cheating while eating a donut on a string. I'm not sure how many she ate before we saw her

Cousin Hannah, who was a spa girl, came down with granny and grampa! It was so much fun and the kids all had a blast! We went to our ward Fall Festival and had tons of fun! And got enough candy to feed Africa and then went down a few streets trick or treating old school style! It's the best!

The good night moon

Wow. It's finally over... this freakin day!! I yelled. I swore. I rolled my eyes on more than one occasion. Olive peed on the floor three times. And came in and handed me a piece of pooh smashed all over her finger while trying to do spelling with the kids. Lex was being a punk and wouldn't listen so he got to do a whole chapter in math (including learning something new in fractions) he still wasn't done at 7PM and what he did do he did WRONG!!! So now he has to redo it ALL tomorrow! Can't wait for that. Olive freakin headbutted me in the mouth, made me bleed and gave me a fat lip. I went to smack her butt, without thinking. I missed. She probably has a bruise on her leg. Tadhg got mad because Olive kept turning the lights out while he was in the tub so he decided to throw buckets of water at her ALL OVER THE FLOOR! So I called him a 'little shit.' Well, Olive heard... and wouldn't stop saying it, of course. I think I scratched my eye because its really irritated and I can't wear my contacts. And now Indie is crying because she was jumping around on her bed and smacked the holy crap out of her head on the wall. Oh, and Paul took all the Hershey's kisses to work today so I had NO chocolate to help me through this glorious day! Bring on the night!! But on the bright side.... I did learned how to fishtail braid my hair today!! YEAH!! Thanks youtube for making my day a little brighter!

My baby girl is TWO!!!

Olive was so excited when I brought home all her party stuff. She loves pink! Who doesn't!!??

She got lots of baby stuff, books, and her very own princess dress made by naunie!!
I can't believe she is already two years old! It seems like yesterday we had her! She is getting so big and so smart! She talks so much it's crazy! She is ALWAYS happy! Ever since she was a tiny baby she's been that way. She is so much fun to have around and just when I think I couldn't love her any more she says something so adorable or flashes me her cheesy grin and my heart just about explodes! Man, I sure do love this kid!!!!

This is what Olive calls her "monkey face"..... looks just like one, doesn't it??

Lex letting his frog Sticky get some climbing time on the wall. He has made another blog to showcase all his animal, insect, and anything else that sparks his interest! Check it out it's pretty cool. He took all the pictures himself and did all the typing, too! Check it out HERE
Sticky chillin on Indie's glasses
My handsome boys!
What blue eyes this one has! Or maybe it's just the pizza that brings them out.

That time of year.... again...and still missin my pops!

I can't believe September 18th is here AGAIN! Crazy how time flies. Eleven years ago the worst day in history... well at least for my family it was! As most of my blog readers know it's the day my daddy died. Eleven years sounds like an eternity! But for those of you who have lost someone so close know that in such a situation an eternity and yesterday some how seem to have the same feeling. The memory of the tragedy seems like yesterday but feels like and eternity since I've seen him. So weird. Some of you know I actually really like to write poems from time to time and this time of year really brings it out in me. Last year was the first time I posted one and thought I would do the same for this year. So break out the tissues mama cuz here it is! And can I just say thank you mom for the most perfect childhood ANYONE could ever hope for! Seriously, perfect. I love you mom and all you continue to do for me and my family. I know this day is almost unbearable for you and I wish I could be near you but know my thoughts, prayers, and love are.

Second of all,to my Grandma-ma Johnson... the one who raised my dad to be the perfect man he was by being perfect yourself! It always seems hard to wish you a 'happy' birthday today being that it is also the day your son died but Happy Birthday to the most wonderful, amazing, loving, inspiring, humble, and PERFECT person to ever live! You are truly the best!

I thought I'd be OK today but apparently I'm not.
Because here I sit, still waiting for your return.
It's amazing that life has gone on without you
Eleven years ago it seemed the world stopped turning
And still here we are , without you.
Living our lives, raising our children who've never met you.
And us trying to carry on you legacy.
But where do we begin?
There's so much to teach.
Your loving compassionate ways.
Your ability to inspire everyone and anyone
Your sensitive heart that touched so many.
How DOES life go on without you??
In my children I see your strength
Your tenderness and love.
I pray that I can teach them like you taught me.
That I can be gentle and sensitive to their needs
like you always were with mine.
How did you do it, all you did?
Sometimes I don't understand
It seems you never gave up
That always inspires me!
You knew Gods plan and despite your pain you never questioned the Saviors love.
In my eyes you couldn't be more perfect!
Of course, I know that's impossible
But that's still how I remember you.
So thank you daddy for all you've given me
The unconditional love
The example you always set
For so many things that continued to bless my life.
And, like always, I think of you and miss you everyday of this life
and can think of nothing more joyous as our reunion above!
I love you daddy a hundred more times than a daughter could ever love her father!

Who has time for blogging???? Well NOT me!

Cute cake Naunie made!
Me and my little girlie-O! I can't believe she's 7!!
Lex made these shorts for Indie.... Way cute!
Thanks for the Littlest Petshop Naunie!

Seriously, sometimes it is so hard to just sit at the computer and post a few pictures here and there. Maybe it's because I know I will not JUST be sitting down to post a few pictures... some how I always seem to get sucked in clicking from link to link and I HATE IT!!!! So before I get hooked here are a few pictures just for show. A few from Indie's bday and a few from Naunie's house where we spent most of our summer. Like all of my pictures are burned on to CD's and I just don't feel like loading them on my computer so someday they might be up.... But we did have a rockin time visiting naunie and grampy!! We miss ya'll!

The butterfly pavillion

We went to the butterfly pavillion with Naunie yesterday and had a great time. We saw tons of butterflies and cool bugs. Some big ole tarantulas! The kids, well not Indie even got to hold it! Even Olive and I held it!

The boys trying to hold still so a butterfly will land on them
Caught one!

So did I!!!
Indie was very excited to hold this one

Naunie and Olivetta

The butterflies loved this guy's shirt!! They were landing all over him
Here is a picture of Olive's new face.... real adorable. (Her eyes are during a hazel/green color! You can really tell in this photo)
