It was Gold Rush Days here in Dahlonega over the weekend, which brought with it all sorts of fun! Including bounce houses, a parade filled with candy and rednecks, $8 gyros that someone dropped (I won't mention any names). Over priced dollar store quality toys, homemade jewelry, Indian memorabilia, kettle corn, and what celebration wouldn't be complete with out the always creepy Carny bums!! There were around 200,000 people over the weekend! Yikes! That's a lot of Georgians! We had fun for about an hour and a half and all we made it to was the parade and one bounce house before Paul and Lex had to book a therapy session. The kids really had fun in the bounce house, I think they were in there for about 30 minutes before we made them get out. Those bounce houses sure are fun! I wish I could get in one!

What a precious little angel our little Olive Apollonia is! She is three weeks old today, it is amazing how fast the time goes. It seems like just yesterday I was holding my little Lexy boy on my chest as he would try and scoot up to snuggle my neck! It seems the more children I have the more I remember to cherish every moment of every day. This is the only time after having a baby that I actually want to have more babies! Usually the number of babies I want to have decreases with every child birth! I definitely enjoying every day with my little ones and am learning to soak in every moment!

Here is our sweet little Olive! She is now two weeks old! Man the time really flies! She is so cute and we just can't get enough of her! On Tuesday we found out that she has a broken collar bone (a.k.a. clavicle) . Saturday and Sunday she was really fussy and I started to realize she hadn't really been using her right arm very much. I was having flash backs of when Tadhg broke his arm and I began to wonder if maybe she had broke her collar bone during delivery. She was a pretty good sized baby so it was definitely a possibility. Anyways, the doctor couldn't see us until Tuesday but when we went the x-rays confirmed it was in fact broken. A normal clavicle goes almost straight across (it curves down a little) hers goes up in an S shape. We saw the specialist yesterday and he seems to think it will heal on its own. She has to go back in three weeks to have more x-rays just to make sure. My poor little baby! That is why she would completely freak out when we would change her clothes and give her a bath. And in some of the pictures you can notice her right arm just hanging to her side. Luckily for the first week of her life we kept her tightly bundled! The doctor said that for the first three to four days after birth they just would have you ace bandage the babies arm around their body so it was a good thing we kept her bundled! We are just praying that it will heal on its own and she won't have to have surgery! Yikes!

Today was Old fashion day in all the Dahlonega schools. The kids dressed up in old fashion clothing and did numerous activities the whole day at school. Some of the activities included going to a puppet show, soft clay sculpturing, three legged races, gold panning, hay rides, and even got to see a real Indian (as so put by my children)! They really had a blast. It lasted the entire day and me and the little ones got to go and join them for some of the day. The best part had to be that Naunie just happened to be here last week so the kids got some really great outfits to wear. Handmade by Naunie herself! Indie was an Indian and Lex was a gold panner. The looked cute as heck! I was able to take some pictures but not a whole lot of Lex's class. They did all of their outside activities after we had to leave for naptime.
There are some cute ones of Lex gold panning and some funny ones of Indie in the three legged race. It was funny cuz everytime Indie and her friend would fall Tadhg would pretend to fall to the ground, too. And the sun was so bright Indie was pulling some funny faces. I think the kids had a blast and it was fun seeing them at school with all their little friends. It was a little crazy when I for some strange reason decided to let Tadhg out of his stroller. He was, of course, running all over the place! But I got such great compliments on Indie's outfit and how beautiful she is. And while saying goodbye to Lex a lady told me what a wonderful sweet boy she thought Lex was and what a great kid he is. It really made me proud to be their mom and it made it worth all of the crazy chasing I had to do with Taddy man. I really am happy I have my kids and I love all four of them more than anything!

Well, we had to say goodbye to our Naunie on Saturday and it was very sad!! We already miss her! The time seems to fly by when she is here. It is really hard living so far away, it just makes the goodbyes ten times harder!! We never know when we'll see her again!!! Our poor little Lexy boy really had a hard time, he is such a Naunie's boy! He didn't even want to go to the airport because he couldn't bare the thought of having to say goodbye again. He even gave Naunie one of his dragon drawings and his favorite race car computer game to take home with her. Then when they got to the airport Indie was bawling her eyes out!! We definitely live to far away!! We miss you Naunie!! We don't know when we will see you but we do know it won't be soon enough. Thanks mommy for all your help and for taking time out of your life to come and make mine a heck of a lot easier! I miss you already! I love when you come see us and I love that you get to be with me when I have my babies! I wouldn't have it any other way! I miss you and love you more than anything! You are the best!

Here is our new house in Dahlonega, GA. It is quite....cozy! Let's just say it will be interesting having four children in this tiny little house! In fact the whole neighborhood is wondering the same thing! Good thing it will only be till next summer! We are doing great and the kids are all adjusting well to their new little sissy. She is so cute it makes it easy! She is a little fussy today, I don't think I have put her down much today. The more kids you have the more you realize how fast the time goes, especially when they're this little. They change so much and I just can't get enough of that new baby lovin'!!! Speaking of that lovin' she just started crying, again!! Time to go feed....Oh the wonderful days of feeling like a jersey cow!
