Every morning before school Lex insists on combing his own hair....and one bright and glorious morning this is how he came to the breakfast table. I usually let him go to school the way he combs it because I don't want too controlling (that and as I am kissing him good-bye I rub his head with a 'goodbye buddy' and he never even knows i "messed up his hair). But this just crossed the line! I told him there was know way he could go to school looking like that! Of course he protested,he informed me that it must be combed forward, just call him Donald Trump, jr. I told him I was going take a picture and show him and if he still liked it he could keep it that way. When he saw it luckily he agreed with me and it was returned to normal. On the road to dorkiness!

I don't know what special power Indie has over her brothers but so far she has gotten them both to dress up in ballerina clothes and dance around with her. Should I be worried? Well hopefully now that our little Olive has arrived maybe in a year or so they will be safe!

Thanksgiving is over and you know what that means!! Puttin up the Christmas Tree, ASAP!! I am so excited! I love Christmas!! Tadhg will be so much fun this year, as long as we can keep him out of the tree and from breaking our traditional train that encircles it! It will be a humble Christmas, aka a student budget Christmas. Not that my kids need any more toys anyways!

Every once in a while Olive decides to projectile vomit all over and usually that poor victim is her loving mother! I have never in my life seen a baby throw up like this before, let alone an adult! It is amazing what force is behind it! It reminds me of someone throwing up in a movie, you know the totally fake looking kind? Well, that is exactly what it looks like! And who would have ever guessed her little belly could hold so much milk!

We went to Paul's parents house for Thanksgiving and it was a lot of fun. His sister and her family joined the party.Holly, my wonderful sister-in-law, went on the Black Friday journey with me, followed by a cycling class with Sarah Jane at Gold's Gym...It was rockin! I got to do four of my favorite things in the whole world in only two days! Cook, eat, shop, and exercise!

THIS IS MY FRIEND RENNIE'S STORY...IT WAS SO AMAZING THAT I HAD TO COPY AND PASTE!! WHEN EVER I SEE CLOUDS LIKE THESE THEY REMIND ME OF MY DAD AND THE SECOND COMING SO I HAD TO PUT THEM IN! THANKS FOR LETTING ME SHARE YOUR STORY REN! I LOVE YOU!!!!

I had an amazing thing happen to me last weekend. I was in St. George the day the marathon was taking place. I love going to watch the people race to the finish. It is, for some reason, so emotional for me. I love watching these runners work so hard at something so hard and then finish to their loved ones open arms. Every time I have gone I end up crying as I watch people cross the line. I have watched my sister and brother take place in this run and it was quite the deal for me. I love listening to the crowd cheer the runners on, even when they don't know them. I love listening to the radio station, that is broadcasting the event, try to say every persons name that crosses. I love watching the runners try to relax after the race with their snacks and massages. I love the weather that usually accompanies the marathon.
Anyhow, this year I thought I would take my children over and let them experience this for themselves. They are all very small, so honestly, it was more for me.

We got delayed at my mom's house and didn't make it over until around 1pm. The race started at 6am (I believe). The 1st person to finish ran the race in 2 hrs. 16 minutes and 42 seconds. That is speedy and amazing, but I didn't see it. I came acrossed something, that to me was more amazing. It struck me very strong, especially after some of the events that has happened to our family over the past year or so.
What I saw was all the refreshment booth being taken down, all the course fencing being rolled up, all the balloons being brought down and I saw all the people leaving the park. Then as I was turning the car around I saw two woman half walking and half jogging to the finish line. I got choked up, like I am now, watching these ladies just trying to finish the race. When I look at the time on the clock it was 7:39:49. These two weren't first or second, but they were finishing. I saw them crossed the line and then I noticed two men, (husband, brother, father, cousin) I didn't know, grab these ladies and hug them tight. One even got swung around in a few cirlces. I instantly thought about our family that is Heaven cheering us on, telling us to

"JUST FINISH THIS RACE"!

I loved thinking about my grandparents, nephews, brother, uncles and so many others that are waiting at the finish line so that we can hug. For some reason that was just so cool to me at that moment. Thought I would share!

Considering we are in a major drought and I am expecting our well to dry up any day now I decided to put Olive in the tub with Tadhg and Indie. At first she was a little nervous but after a few seconds she became very relaxed and absolutely loved it! Indie loved it, of course.

I love to bake and I know it might sound crazy but I love when my children help me. This is Tadhg's first time really helping me. We both had so much fun making cookies for daddy. He was so cute stirring the flour and cracking the eggs and it only took about 5 minutes to dig out the shells! But it was worth it. He actually listened very well and I think he had fun. The thing that kept cracking me up was that every time I would turn my head he would start licking and biting the cookie dough off the beater! It's the same thing with Indie! Every time I turn my head she does the same thing! Silly kids, they take after their daddy! Looks like we're going to need another apron Naunie!

I was startled by a strange pounding noise earlier today. As I entered the kitchen I found Tadhg tenderizing, if you will. His apple with a fork stuck in it beating it on the kitchen table. It looked like fun I guess! I mean who wouldn't want to hammer your apple? Especially because you could watch pieces of it fly all over the kitchen? Sounds like fun to me!

Olive is getting so big! She is so stinkin cute! She weighs over 13 pounds now and gets bigger everyday! She loves when daddy holds her hands so she can pulls herself up to stand on his lap. She is smiling and cooing now and most importantly still has brown hair! She is such a good baby and is just as beautiful as her blond haired big sister! I love my babies so much and I am such a lucky mom to have such healthy, beautiful, loving, and crazy children!

Soccer season is over once again! It will be nice to have some free time but I will miss the games. Lex is such an awesome athlete and Indie is getting to be really good, too! Some of these pictures are really awesome!! Especially the Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon one!!

OK, I can't resist it any longer!!! I have to put the christmas music on! I'm glad you all loved my 80/90's music but TIZ THE SEASON YA'LL!!! I usually don't listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving but everything seems to go by so quickly these days in this fast paced world that I wanted to enjoy it just a little bit longer!

We went to the Ingram's house this weekend and I went to a Women's Conference with Sarah and it was really nice, thanks Sarah! This picture of Lex is so funny! He is our little snuggle bug! He loves to snuggle someone, usually Daddy, but anyone or thing breathing, will do. We always tease him, telling him he is like snuggling a bag of sticks! So one night he ran upstairs and put on about five layers of clothes so he would be nice and soft! It was so funny and yet somehow so sad! Sorry for the issues buddy!
