You are right grandpa Lex doesn't have very many pictures posted! But that's because he never lets me take his stinking picture! And when I do this is what he does..... notice the middle finger??? Just kidding MOM it wasn't intentional! But pretty funny!!

Lex was being a stinker the other day and I asked him why. I told him "Now is one of those times when you have to decided if he wants to be naughty and get in trouble for silly things or he can decide to stop and we can have a fun time." A few minutes went by and I noticed Lex was gone. When I found him he was in my bedroom folding the laundry on my bed! I asked him what he was doing and he said he wanted to make me happy and see me smile! He then proceeded to clean the whole house!!! He even went as far as to pull out the silverware tray/junk drawer and organize it!! When he was finished he told me he wanted to help because he didn't think it was fair that I always had to clean and never got to sit down and rest. Now is that a AWESOME boy or what!!!!

Daddy went out shooting and we were left home.........again! BOO! So we decided to have a beauty parlor! Indie sure had fun! But I don't know who had more fun her OR ME!! She is such a beauty queen!

Indie's haircut!

Well, Indie finally got what she wanted....her hair chopped off!! She has said a couple of times about wanting to cut her hair short but Paul and I have said "NO WAY!" Well, actually we said next time we see Naunie you can get it cut, hoping she would change her mind of course! But I finally got so sick of dealing with her freak out every time she caught sight of the brush so I said OK, you need a haircut! And when she walked in the house after school and I saw how snarly it was I grabbed the scissors and said "Let's do this!" So with the help of Naunie on speaker phone and some pretty cheap hair cutting scissors it was a done deal! I think it turned out pretty darn cute! The only problem now is she looks like she's 16!! She is one beautiful blond!! And it is crazy how much she really looks like my mom now! And as you can tell she really loves it....It matches her sassy attitude!

Here is our little hula girl!! Our neighbor went to Hawaii on her honeymoon and brought back Indie this cute outfit!!





Indie decided that today was her Mimzy bunny's birthday so while she was at school I made her a special birthday cake!! Happy Birthday Mimzy!!!!

Here it is Olive's first food!!! I have never had a baby who has instantly LOVED it from the start! Usually there are a few funny faces being made, some spitting but not in this cause!! She couldn't get enough, as you can see in the pictures below!

APRIL FOOLS!!!!

Who wants cupcakes for dinner!!??? No one in this house! I have to say my children, and Lex's BFF, were less than impressed with my April Fool's trickery!! What appeared to be "Cupcakes" was actually meatloaf with colored mashed potatoes on top. I thought it was pretty dang funny, the kids on the other hand thought it was pretty dang stupid and disgusting!! For some reason they just couldn't get past the colored mashed potatoes that reminded them too much of playdough. And then for some reason or another thought it was utterly disgusting to put ketchup on the meat as if it were some sort of hamburger patty!!?? I kept telling all of them "It's JUST a hamburger patty what's the big deal? Just put some ketchup on it like you would eat a burger at Wendy's!" But for some reason that was inconceivable! Then I told them it was like a Krabby Patty but that didn't help either. So like all good mothers I ended up bribing them by saying they weren't going to get any ice cream cones if they didn't eat them!! That seemed to do the trick but still took them about 20 minutes to eat the darn things! And the complaining didn't stop either and every other word that came out of their mouths was "disgusting" and "aaaaw, gross!" I mean come on! Were they really THAT BAD! Paul and I thought they were actually pretty yummy! But what do we know we're old and dad will eat anything!
